Threadrick
for Slack
The mascot for Slack the reality, not Slack the aspiration.
Everyone has feelings about Slack.
Slack has no feelings back.
People love it, hate it, joke about it, build their entire work identity around their status emoji. Slack is the most emotionally charged product in your day and the brand gives you nothing to latch onto. No character, no voice, no inside joke. Just a notification dot and a loading screen.
Meet Threadrick.
The office pigeon who shows up to every meeting, absorbs every message, and understands none of it. He's the guy who replies "details in thread" to buy himself time because he lost the plot three channels ago. Perpetually frazzled, weirdly committed, never off the clock. If your Slack anxiety had a face, it would be Threadrick's.
Threadrick is a TikTok series
that writes itself.
He reacts to real (fictional but extremely plausible) workplace Slack disasters. Someone pings the whole company about a printer. Threadrick gets Employee of the Month for "most consistent use of thread." He dies dramatically after a Monday standup. The comment section does the rest. Every office already has a Threadrick. Slack just hasn't given him a body yet.
We create brand characters and put them to work.
